GENERAL:
-Agloanema is a simple plant for growing at home, which means light thread. With a little care, it becomes an interesting detail for the interior of the house. Agloanema is a houseplant of large green / silver leaves.
MAINTENANCE AND CULTIVATION:
-The ideal temperature for growing is between 14-18 degrees. It is resistant to low temperatures and can withstand up to 10 degrees, and it likes up to 24 degrees in summer if the air is humid. It is important to know that it does not tolerate strong sun, so it is best to stay in the shade during the summer. When we talk about watering, only lukewarm water is used, in the summer it is watered more abundantly, every 4-5 days so that the soil is moderately moist. In winter, it is watered only when the ground is completely dry once a week. Agloane should be sprayed with lukewarm water twice a week in summer, it tolerates dry air in apartments in winter, but it likes dew.
Agloanema is planted in permeable, nutritious soil (suitable for peat substrate). The leaves should be wiped occasionally with lukewarm water, but never for a leaf gloss! It is best to wipe the dust off with a soft wet cloth.
In May, Aglaonema is transplanted into a mixture of soil with peat with a little addition of sand and pearls in wide pots, you must not press the soil, it does not tolerate compaction. After 2-3 years, Agloanema becomes weaker, so it is recommended that the old plants be uprooted into smaller parts and propagated that way.
REPRODUCTION:
-Reproduction takes place by dividing adult plants in the spring. Separated buses are planted with peat and sand to take root. It is most easily propagated by cuttings with 3-4 leaves that separate from the tops of the stem during the summer at a temperature of 20-22 degrees. Cuttings take root in three weeks, and young plants are planted in a substrate with a lot of peat.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT AGLOANEME HERBAL JUICE IS VERY HARMFUL, EVEN POISONOUS, SO IT IS BEST TO KEEP CHILDREN OUT OF REACH.
